George E. DeMuth, M.S.
President & Founder
For more than 20 years, Mr. DeMuth has worked as a statistician on clinical trials and
integrated summaries for pharmaceuticals, biologics and medical devices. His areas of
expertise include, but are not limited to:
- Design of clinical development plans and clinical trials
- CRF review, sample size estimation
- Statistical analysis plan creation and review
- Report writing
- Development of statistical packages for report writing
- FDA panel presentations
Mr. DeMuth co-authored the Macro Reporting System and The Stat-Companion, which is an MS-Windows
program that performs statistical analyses, sample size calculations and power calculations.
Prior to founding Stat-Tech Services, Mr. DeMuth served as a biostatistician and manager at
BRI International (acquired by Quintiles in 1996) and was a statistician with Burroughs Wellcome
Company. He earned his B.S. degree in Mathematics from the University of Michigan and his M.S.
degree in Statistics from the University of North Carolina.

Martha R. Fuquay, M.S.
Vice President, Operations and Business Development
Ms. Fuquay has over nine years experience managing projects and personnel in support of clinical trials.
She has over 10 years of business management and human resources experience in the healthcare field.
Ms. Fuquay is trained in the areas of physical and mental disabilities, medical diseases, medical
terminology and healthcare issues. She is knowledgeable and experienced with SAS programming and data
management. Ms. Fuquay earned a B.A in Psychology from Elon College and an M.S. in Rehabilitation
Psychology and Counseling from the University of North Carolina.

John R. Iwaniszek, M.S.
Director of Programming and Study Services
Mr. Iwaniszek has 15 years SAS programming and macro development experience and 10 years clinical
trial experience. He has worked on a variety of pharmaceutical and medical device studies as well
as SAS QC programming and review.
As co-developer of the Macro Reporting System, Mr. Iwaniszek has extensive knowledge of the main
SAS programming tools used by Stat-Tech Services and is able to provide MRS training.
Mr. Iwaniszek earned a B.A. in Education from Berea College and an M.S. in Industrial Psychology from
Springfield College.
